The shortage of good technical talent is getting ever more acute, and
with the members of the Front Range UNIX Users' Group constituting the
most talented group of open systems professionals in the Boulder/Denver
area, it's no wonder that we are deluged with requests from search
firms. We are currently getting several calls daily from recruiters
and, since many of you are asking us the same questions, we'd appreciate
it if you would read this page and know your options before you call.
We'd like to do what we can to help you get word out, however none of us
on the Executive Committee has time to try to play match-maker between
our 200-400 members and the jobs that you have open. So please resist
the urge to call and ask us: "do you know of anyone..." Instead, please
consider the options below:

The easiest way to reach our members is to simply send us some
literature to put out at our next meeting. You're also welcome to come
to our next meeting and make an announcement as well.

contains out-of-date information, it means that our next
meeting is not yet scheduled. Meeting announcements are posted
approximately two weeks in advance, and we meet roughly once a month.

The FRUUG

Web page has become a popular way to reach FRUUG members who are
actively looking for new opportunities.
Lone Eagle Systems
is now responsible for maintaining the job posting pages, and there
are two ways in which you can participate in this medium:

If you already post available positions on your own Web site,
we'd be happy to provide a link to your site on our Web page
at no cost to you. Please e-mail the link to gaede at fruug.org
and let us know that you'd like it to be added to the FRUUG
job posting page.

If you wish us to post your content, we can do so for a charge
of $50 for a three-month posting. This charge goes to Lone
Eagle Systems to defray the cost of the time involved to maintain
the job posting Web site. Please send your job description
and contact information in html to gaede at fruug.org
Please limit your content to about a page, and do not include
graphics.
We will post your content on receipt of a check written to
Lone Eagle Systems Inc. at the address provided with our
contact information.
We're happy to provide you with an invoice and taxpayer identification
number on request.
