We had a great turnout and a great interest in our meeting on
smart homes in December. As a result, we've arranged with Gary Koenig
to give us the cook's tour of one of the smart homes that he's
configured in the course of his work for McStain Homes.
The tour will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 19
We need to know how many people plan to attend, and given
that it's a Saturday, we have no idea how to predict
attendance. If you plan to come, please sign up below
so that we know to expect you. If there are any last-minute
changes, we'll e-mail you.
The model home is in the Indian Peaks West subdivision in Lafayette,
at 391 Indian Peaks Trail West. From Boulder, take
Baseline heading east. Go past 76th. Continue for another 1.5-2 miles.
Just after Baseline turns into 4 lanes, turn left onto King Street.
Immediately take a right at the T onto Blue Lake Trail. Follow this street
until you get to the traffic circle. The gray/blue house on the west edge
of the traffic circle is 391 Indian Peaks Trail West. You can park where
the signs say "Model Parking". There is a fence around the house, so you
will have to enter through the gate in front of 395 Indian Peaks Trail and
then walk back to 391. If you have any trouble, call Gary on his cell phone
(303-210-5175) and he'll get you there. If you're coming south on 95th, turn
west onto Baseline and take a right at the second intersection (King Street)
then follow the instructions from above.
Slides for both Gary Koenig's and Jim Elliott's talks are
posted in our meeting archive at
