At our June 2002 meeting, Wally Wedel, Master Java Architect
at Sun Microsystems (and long-time FRUUG Executive Committee Member)
discussed how well he's been able to use MacOS X in everyday use
in his consulting work. Besides drawing Macophiles out of the
woodwork wherever he parks his Titanium PowerBook, Wally finds
that the UNIX base of MacOS X provides the support he needs
for his everyday Java software development as well as for
running his "productivity" applications.
Although most of Wally's presentation was oriented
around a demo of MacOS X features, his
presentation slides are available here
(HTML).
